Women, Peace and Security: UNSCR 1325 & Women’s Participation

Description

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Singapore Committee for UN Women and the European Union Delegation to Singapore is organizing a panel talk addressing women’s role and voice in policy-making and in security agencies. The event hopes to raise awareness on women’s role and participation in political fora and security forces and will consist of a panel discussion with speakers from a variety of sectors.
